These terms apply to your use of ontract.co and our landing pages, to any free resources we provide, and, together with a written proposal or agreement, to the services we provide. Tract is a trading name of Ethan Hewat, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. By using our website or downloading a resource you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Our services are for businesses. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
Free resources such as our cheat sheets are provided for general information only. They are not legal, financial or professional advice. We use published sources and aim to be accurate, but dates, prices, platform rules and market conditions change, so please check anything that matters to your business before relying on it. You may use a resource for your own business, but you may not resell it, republish it, or pass it off as your own.
We agree the scope, price, timings and any guarantee for paid work in a written proposal or agreement before we start. If anything in these terms conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins. Unless the agreement says otherwise:
Marketing outcomes depend on many things we do not control, including your offer, pricing, stock, customer service, competitors, and changes made by platforms such as Google and Meta. Except for a guarantee that is written into your agreement, we cannot promise any particular result, ranking, number of enquiries or amount of revenue.
If you give us customer data, you confirm that you are entitled to share it and to have us contact those people for the agreed purpose. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The content on our website, including text, design and our logo, belongs to us. For paid work, ownership of the finished deliverables is set out in your agreement. Unless it says otherwise, you own the final work you have paid for, and we keep our own methods, templates and tools.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or opportunity, and our total liability for anything connected with our services will not exceed the fees you paid us for the services in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Our site may link to other websites, and our services rely on third-party platforms. We are not responsible for their content, availability or changes to their rules.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Changes do not affect an agreement already in place for paid work.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
